Signed to Demo Deal with Wine Dark Records in 2005. Label run by Gary Katz (Producer of Steely Dan), Camille Barbone (Manager of Madonna), Larry Stessel and Michael Paullen. Distribution through Universal Records. LDE exited deal in 2006.

Winner of the 99.1 WHFS Big Break Contest. Competed with hundreds of area bands in radio station rock contest. Performed main stage at 2002 and 2003 HFStival. The HFStival is the longest running alternative rock concert in the world and is consistently one of the top ten grossing concerts nationally each year.

235 Shows and over 100,000 Miles in 2005. 235 shows performed and over 100,000 miles put on the tour van in one year. Performances as far south as Miami, north as Montreal, west as El Paso and east as Boston.

Voted One of the Top Ten Best Bands in DC. The 2005 Washington Post Readers Poll voted LDE one of the top ten best live bands in the Nation's capital.

6800 copies of LIVE 2004 CD sold at live performances. LDE's CD, Live 2004, was released in October 2004. LDE independently sells their merchandise at all performances.

Molson Snow Jam and American Music Festival. Beat out over 200 other bands in the Kahunaville "Battle of the Bands" to perform alongside Simple Plan and Mighty Bosstones at the Snow Jam in Boston. Opened for the Goo Goo Dolls at the American Music Festival in Virginia Beach.
